Download iCal FileCommunityHealth, the largest volunteer-based free health clinic in the country, is located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, with a newly opened microsite in Belmont Cragin. We provide primary, specialty, and dental care, medications, lab testing, mental health services, and health education at no cost to nearly 10,000 low-income, uninsured adults in Chicago. Our work is made possible thanks in large part to our team of over 1,000 volunteers, including volunteer pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. We have had the pleasure of working with many different groups and would love to connect with your organization.
We are in great need of both additional volunteer pharmacists and volunteer pharmacy technicians and would truly appreciate you sharing this opportunity with your network. For your convenience, I have attached a detailed flyer for the volunteer opportunity. We provide training and a shadow shift with our experienced pharmacy team to ensure new volunteers are comfortable and well-oriented to our clinic operations. Please note that potential volunteer pharmacy technicians must be licensed and either currently in pharmacy school or working as a pharmacy technician.
