Led by Dean Schumock and moderated by Ryan Koca, PharmD ’10, MBA, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from our panel, Alexandra Broadus, PharmD ’08; Ken Joseph, PharmD; and Pratik Shah, PharmD ’14. Hear firsthand how each of them took advantage of opportunities and parlayed their pharmacy education and initial community pharmacy experiences into exciting and personally rewarding careers. The panelists will discuss:

  • Their career experiences and transitions
  • Their decision-making when taking new opportunities
  • The advantages and outcomes of career moves
  • Things they wished they had known as students!
  • And much more.

Please come prepared to learn something, receive an answer to your questions, hear their thoughts on career moves, and for a laugh or two. Whether you plan a career in community pharmacy or elsewhere – you will learn valuable lessons from this panel discussion.

Made up of a group of early-career pharmacy leaders from across the pharmacy career spectrum, the Early Career Council plays a vital role in the growth and advancement of the College by working with the UIC College of Pharmacy’s Dean and Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs staff to further advance the College by supporting educational, career, and professional development opportunities for current and future Pharmacy graduates.
