Attention Doctor of Pharmacy candidates and recent graduates,

St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in collaboration with our industry partners, is excited to announce we will be recruiting for four Postdoctoral Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Positions this upcoming fall semester.

For fellowships beginning on or about July 1^st, 2024, four programs will be recruiting for new fellows in the following areas:

• American Regent, Inc.: recruiting for one position in Medical Affairs
• Pfizer Inc.: recruiting for one position in Global Market Access and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).
• Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company: recruiting for one position in Clinical Development
• PTC Therapeutics: recruiting for one position in Global Regulatory Affairs

The College is also happy to announce six fellowship webinars to be held during the months of September/October 2023.

The first webinar will be our 2023 Virtual Pharmaceutical Industry Informational Session that will be held on Tuesday September 26^th, from 8:00pm until 9:30pm EDT. During this exciting kickoff event our program leaders, along with our first- and second-year fellows from our five industry partners; American Regent, Pfizer, Allergan Aesthetics, PTC Therapeutics, and Sumitomo Pharma, will provide an overview of Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships and how to prepare for the application process. The following topics will be discussed:

• What is a fellowship?
• Why choose a fellowship?
• What are the responsibilities of a fellow and Chief Fellow?
• An overview of various functional areas within a pharmaceutical company.
• Basic interview, virtual interview, and CV preparation recommendations.

The general programming will end with our fellows’ answering questions posed by interested candidates.
