Academic Integrity and Professionalism
The Retzky College of Pharmacy expects students to uphold the college’s Honor Code of Professional Behavior for Academic Integrity and Student Success. Students are also expected to uphold the UIC Community Standards as described in the Student Disciplinary Policy.
Addressing Academic Integrity and Professionalism Issues
The College of Pharmacy Student Integrity Committee oversees and enforces the College’s Honor Code and will serve as an arbiter for appeal of findings of violations of the Honor Code as it relates to issues of professionalism. As such, the committee will perform the following primary functions: a) record and track cases of violation and alleged violation of student integrity by Doctor of Pharmacy students in the College, including professionalism; b) perform full review and fact finding of such cases as needed; and c) make recommendations to the College, its faculty and/or the university regarding appropriate actions toward resolution and/or prevention of such cases.
