Do you have students who are struggling in your course? Early detection of poor academic performance or other issues can help students be successful!
A proactive approach of communication and collaboration between course coordinators and the Office of Student Affairs can support student success by promptly identifying and addressing issues.
The Office of Student Affairs:
- Encourages course coordinators to promptly notify OSA about students struggling in their courses.
- Works with students who are struggling to identify ways to assist and support them each of them individually.
- Directs students to, and encourage them to use, appropriate college and campus resources.
- Facilitates discussion between students and course coordinators regarding the students' struggles.
