2024 Eye Care Development Intern Overview

Eye Care Development is responsible for designing and executing phase 1-3 trials for eye care disorders, including presbyopia, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and dry eye.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answer focused questions critical to clinical trial startup/conduct through literature reviews.
  • Deliver various disease state presentations.
  • Perform clinical trial data review.
  • Help prepare slide decks to disseminate information within the company.
  • Support of ongoing clinical trials.

Minimum Qualifications

  •         Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PharmD or PhD in Health Sciences or other related field.
  •         Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Expected graduation date between December 2024- July 2026.
  • Ability to interpret scientific literature, providing suggestions for design and development on clinical studies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including analysis.
  • Self-motivated; ability to execute with limited supervision and direction. Can work independently or part of a team.
  •  Proficient in required software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
