Please join us to learn more about the program and speak to the program director, preceptors, and current residents. The PGY-1 pharmacy residency program at Hennepin Country Medical Center (HCMC) builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. Hennepin Healthcare offers two distinct PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Programs: one focusing on the care of patients in the hospital and ambulatory settings and the other focusing on the care of patients in the ambulatory and community care settings.
