Medical Information and Knowledge Integration (MIKI) , Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC
The MIKI Intern will have the opportunity to provide scientific knowledge support through various workstreams and projects while gaining exposure to collaborating with cross-functional partners. The MIKI intern will focus on using literature search database, exhibiting critical thinking and analytical skills, and contributing insightful interpretation of published/unpublished data.
Intern role:
Searching and critically evaluating literature; researching and authoring scientific response documents in response to questions or due to newly published information; presenting journal club and/or seminar presentation on relevant topics; participating in meetings as appropriate, such as staff meetings, Copy Approval Committee meetings, and Therapeutic Area team meetings; meeting with Janssen pharmacists to network and learn about their role in the pharmaceutical industry

Qualifications
Successful candidates are required to:
- Be enrolled as a PharmD candidate in their 5th or 6th year of an accredited college/university
- Interest in medical writing, drug information, and communications
- Have good verbal & communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team
- Be available to work full time (up to 40 hours) starting in May or June 2022 through August 2022, for at least 10 weeks.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status)
