The Tomah VA Pharmacy Service provides progressive clinical services to patients across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota between the medical center located in Tomah, WI and four Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located throughout western and central Wisconsin. Clinical Pharmacist Practitioners operate under a scope of practice to manage various disease states in different practice areas. The Tomah VAMC is situated on a 173-acre campus and has a 10-bed acute medicine unit, 10-bed acute psychiatric unit, 70-bed Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP), 110-bed Community Living Center (CLC), and cares for approximately 20,000 Veterans. The Tomah VAMC maintains strong relationships with the area military bases (Fort McCoy, Volk Field).
